Howard Lake

Howard founded UK Fundraising in 1994 — the sector’s most-read publication for over 30 years, and the place where the UK charity sector has gone to understand itself. He has been watching, writing about, and shaping the conversation around fundraising for longer than most people in the sector have been working in it.

He joined Raiser’s board when the product was still an idea and Luke hadn’t yet touched a line of code. That says something about what he saw. His presence gives Raiser credibility with the sector’s established voices, and his understanding of how the sector communicates helps us say the right things to the right people.
